Bodacious Barbeque - Our Story

Bodacious Barbeque started in 1960 as "Lil Roland's Bodacious Bar-B-Que in Duncanville, Texas. Roland, and his wife Nancy, relocated to Longview, Texas in 1968, across from the LeTourneau University, opening the first of many East Texas locations. The Arlington Bodacious Bar-B-Que is located at 1206 E. Division, opened in August, 1991.

You'll taste the difference in our Bar-B-Que because we still prepare it the old fashioned way. We smoke our meat with mesquite wood - no gas or electric pits here. Our vegetables are made fresh daily from scratch. And you can still enjoy a big glass of sweet tea, that tastes like tea should taste. Our meat is smoked daily, so if we sell out, we're out until the next day, so you'll know its always fresh.

Bodacious Bar-B-Que has expanded through the years to include many locations across the great State of Texas. So when you want some real Texas barbeque - slow down and take time to enjoy some Bodacious Barbeque!
